Vision: Everyone we reach will fulfill God's purpose for his or her life.

Mission: Develop persons into faithful followers of Jesus Christ by providing everyone we reach with the resources needed to fulfill God's purpose for his or her life.

Values: Loving, Inviting, Following, Equipping

These four core values are the roots of everything we think and do at The Promise. They encapsulate what we believe and how we behave. These are what each of us strive to achieve and live by.

Sunday, October 27, 2:00 - 4:00 PM

Bring your little ghouls and goblins for an afternoon of family fun featuring games, face painting, apple cider, popcorn, and candy. Kids of all ages are invited to participate. Plenty of peanut-free and allergy-sensitive treats available! Event will take place rain or shine, but will be moved inside if weather is poor.

Bible Studies

Open to everyone! We meet in the parlor and discuss just about any topic. Right now we are studying “Jesus Is” . Which is teaching us to realize He is human, too!

Friday Morning 10-11:30am

If you are interested in joining or just to visit, contact Nancy Foust at or just show up!  Love to have new voices!!

Named after the group’s first book study, The SuperMom Myth by Becky Kopitzke, the SuperMoms life group is for mothers with children of any age. Through prayer and friendship, we come together to discuss the joys and challenges of parenting as well as our own faith journeys. The group activities include a combination of book studies, sermon discussions, service and fellowship activities. Find us weekly in the Parlor Room.

Contact Sherri McKeen at or Jennifer Wariner at for more information and to inquire about the availability of childcare.

Life Groups

Looking for a group of sincere people exploring faith? Our life group takes an open and honest look at life and the issues we all face as Christians. No matter where you are in your faith journey our goal is to help each other grow and understand where God wants us to be. We meet casually once a month and our goal is to serve the community at least once a quarter. Sound like a spot for you...please contact Michael Pratt and we can get you additional details.

Meets every 4th Sunday of the month

Join us on the second Saturday of each month as we gather at our book-loving church family members’ homes for some great fellowship, friendship, and, of course, food!  Bring a dish to share and get ready for some enlightening (and just plain fun) discussions on a different book selection each month.

Meets every 2nd Saturday of the month
